Every item in our collection comes with a care label inside. Please check the care label to make sure you treat your items with care they deserve.
Accidentally filled in the wrong shipping address? Please contact us as soon as possible. We will try our best to get our hands on the package before it leaves our warehouse. Please note that as soon as the order has been paid for and is completely processed, we can’t make any changes anymore.
After you've placed an order, you will receive a confirmation email. Your order will be processed as soon as possible. Once your order is ready to be shipped, you will receive an email with the tracking information. You can use this information to track the shipment of your order until it is delivered.
In order to process all orders quickly, we immediately pick, package and ship. Once your order has been paid and processed, it is no longer possible to change the order. If you wish to change or cancel your order, please contact us immediately. We will look into the status of your order and if it hasn’t been shipped yet. Please note that this is not applicable during sale periods.
Once your order is shipped, it is no longer possible to cancel or change the order. You can however start a return of your order within 14 days. Please find more information under ‘returns’.

We will ship your order in a polybag or in a box.
Our returns policy allows you to return products unused within 14 days of receiving them. You can open the parcel and check the contents. Once we've received your returned item(s), we will refund the purchase amount as soon as possible. Returns will only be accepted when items are unused, unwashed, with all original Civilingh labels still attached and in the original packaging.
You have 14 days to return your order after receiving it. Orders must be returned unused and in the original packaging still attached. Furthermore, items have to be unwashed and with all original Civilingh labels still attached. Return costs are not covered by Civilingh.
Fill in the return form and add it to the parcel. If you don’t have a return form, you can contact us. Then attach the return sticker to the parcel. Please be aware that you will have to pay for the return costs.
The order is ready to be returned. Please go to your preferred postal service point and ship the box to: Civilingh Willem Gertenbachstraat 76 1106 WC Amsterdam The Netherlands
After shipping your return, you should receive a receipt with a tracking code so you can track the shipment. Please hold onto this receipt as it is your proof of shipment.
Once we have received your return, we will as soon as possible process it.
If you returned your order and selected ‘money refund’ we will refund you as soon as possible within the 14 days of receiving your return. We always use the same payment method you used to place the order.
The costs of a return are based on the shipping company and country that you ship it from and therefore differ. Please check with your local post office for the pricing.
Please be aware that you will have to pay for the return costs.

If your payment failed after you went through the payment procedure you’ll get a notification. You can try deleting your cookies and cache data, using a different browser or using a different payment method. If this still doesn’t work, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If the purchase shows on your bank statement, however the order still seems to be failed, contact us at email@example.com as soon as possible by sending an email with the screenshot of the payment and the order number.
In the email you received with the order confirmation you will find the invoice. If you can’t find the invoice in your account nor the email confirmation please contact us firstname.lastname@example.org so we can (re)send it to you.
Orders within the European Union are shipped DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) and will not be subject to any additional charges. Countries outside the European Union are shipped DDU and additional charges may be added by your local customs. These fees are paid to the local carrier and customs and are not collected by Civilingh.
VAT or Value Added Tax, are taxes paid on top of the value from sales of products or services. Both customers inside and outside the EU pay VAT on their purchases. If you purchase from within the EU the VAT is included in the price of our products. If you purchase from outside of the EU, it will be paid in the form of import duties.
